Dance Music 2
Dance Music 2 for percussion quartet, is an advanced work that explores rhythmic and timbral development within an ensemble of metal and drum sounds. Use of repeated riffs and grooves, guided improvisation and shadings of timbre and texture come to a powerful dance inspired climax. The piece was written for, and premiered by, the graduate percussion ensemble of Bowling Green State University. It is published by Music for Percussion, Inc.
